While the wider industry has diverse methods of offering, we insist on using only the highest quality materials coupled with the latest in resin technology. We’re a major supplier for the UK’s highways, local authorities, manufacturers and contractors and are proud to be a the heart of the UK’s coating infrastructure.

About
Our History
Following the Second World War, CH Morton and his family formed a small paint company in Nottinghamshire called Morton Paints. The company quickly grew and in 1958 changed its name to Dacrylate Paints Limited.
Dacrylate remains family owned and run, and still upholds all the traditions and values of its founder, combined with progressive technologies to compete in the 21st Century.
Throughout the company’s history we have recognised the need for high-quality durable decorative paints. We harnessed and developed new acrylic resin technology, introduced from America and Europe, which was to revolutionise the way decorative paints, varnishes and finishes would be made in the future.
Nearly 30 years ago Dacrylate Paints Ltd was awarded the Royal Warrant for Manufacturers of Paints Varnishes and Emulsions. This remains our proudest achievement, coupled with our ability to create bespoke coating solutions for our increasing customer base.
About A Mark of Royal Distinction
We are proud to have been granted the Royal Warrant since 1986 as manufacturers of paints, varnishes and emulsions by appointment to His Majesty King Charles III.
This esteemed seal of approval is granted to businesses and individuals who have consistently supplied goods or services to HM The King and HM The Queen.
Recognised for more than 900 years as a symbol of excellence, the Royal Warrant is highly regarded across industries, signifying superior quality and service.
