Dacrylate Epidac 116, Highways England Item 116, is a high-build epoxy undercoat that has been developed for the upgrading of existing chlorinated rubber, vinyl, acrylated rubber, oleo resinous, alkyds, silicone alkyds, and similar.

Drying time will vary with temperature, air movement, etc. When overcoating non-convertible paints, eg., chlorinated rubber or vinyl, etc., dry film thickness should be not more than 75 microns. Apply with a full wet brush, and do not brush-out or ‘lay-off’ to avoid solvent attack/solvent temperature.
