Dacrylate Epidac 1Z is a single pack epoxy with a low sheen appearance for use as a 'sacrificial' primer for steel, providing excellent corrosion protection. Epidac 1Z can also be used as a 'repair' primer for damaged galvanised steel.

| Overcoating: | When overcoating with coatings based on mild solvents (ie. white spirit), the primer need only be firm dry (ie. approximately 2 hours) or any time thereafter. For fast drying finishing coats based on stronger ‘aromatic’ solvents, the primer should be over-coated when firm dry (and for up to 4 hours) or after 48 hours. |
