Products Epidac
The Dacrylate Epidac Range, is based epoxy resins and consists of coatings that are formulated to provide long-term protection to substrates. Many of the Epidac range are BBA approved to Highways England Item Numbers, and offer excellent adhesion to galvanised steelwork.
Epidac 121, approved to HE Item 121, with its low specular finish, provides high volume solids and high build application with a low VOC content, compliant to EPA PG23/6, offering enhanced barrier protection. Whilst Epidac 112 (HE Item 112) is a high-solids epoxy coating that provides long-term protection of steel and galvanised fabrications. Epidac 116 (HE Item 116) high-build epoxy undercoat offers enhanced barrier protection whilst upgrading existing coatings and the high-build application can be applied by brush. Epidac FS, was developed where rapid over-coating is required to steel and galvanised surfaces, but also provides excellent anti-corrosive properties due to the use of micaceous iron oxide pigmentation (MIO).
For excellent corrosion protection of steel and galvanised surfaces, primer Epidac ZP with phosphate pigmentation can be overcoated with a wide range of topcoats whilst maintaining low VOC’s. Whilst our Epidac TC is ideal where chemical resistance is required in harsh environments. Epidac TC has excellent resistance to alkalis and mild acids, oils, and hydrocarbon oil/solvents.
Epidac 2S and Epdiac 2W is a tough, chemical resistant floor paint that is suitable for withstanding foot and light industrial traffic and provides resistance to the penetration of oils, liquids, greases, and similar; in a variety of industrial applications.
Epidac 505 has been specifically researched and developed for splash and tidal zones, where a high level of anti-corrosive protection and high-abrasion resistance is required for steel structures.
Epidac 1Z is a single pack sacrificial’ primer for steel, but also can be used as a ‘repair’ primer for damaged galvanised steel.
